Where Love Gets A Second Chance

Life is less about finding the right person, and more sustaining the relationship. It's all about how well we care for each other throughout the relationship. For some of us, it can be scary to make a commitment. For others, it's easy to jump right in. Either way, a relationship has to built on our ability to maintain connection through our ability to express ourselves in loving, healthy ways. Only then can we understand both partner's needs. What remains unsaid and the way we speak is often the source of the spiraling deterioration that threatens our union.

When Adam and Eve were in the garden they were naked and unashamed before each other and God. Relationship coaching incorporates several key components, knowing thyself, knowing your partner and being able to share with vulnerability from the heart.

Becoming aware of the personal triggers that cause you to retreat in self-protection is part of the individual process of change. Feeling safe enough to share your triggers and express your emotional need with each other will allow you to rebuild your foundations. This is the relational part of the process that develops emotional intimacy. When you understand each other at a heart level, you experience the intimacy that is intended for marriage. Your relationship will go from arguing or retreating to being able to communicate your emotional needs to an almost intuitive dance with your partner.

If you are having trouble in your relationship or want to connect with your partner on a deeper level relationship coaching at the Pittsburgh Transformation Center can help.
